There are many languages in Ireland. The two most speaking language is English and Irish, but Irish is the national and first official language.


English
There are two main dialects in Ireland; Hiberno-English (found in the provinces of Connacht, Leinster and Munster) and Mid Ulster English (found in Ulster)

Ulster Scots
Ulster Scots is a dialect of Scots. It’s spoken in some places in County Donegal and Northern Ireland.

Shelta
Shelta is a language that is developed in both Irish and English, and it’s most spoken by the Irish traveler society.

Hiberno-Norman French
When the Norman from England came in 12th century, they spoke Anglo-Norman French. The language was mainly spoken in the counties Wexford and Waterford. The Department of Irish Folklore in University College Dublin has the recording of these individuals


Immigrant languages
When the immigrants came there has been many various spoken language. The top then listed was Greek, Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Spanish, Cantonese, Japanese, Mandarin, Hindi and Arabic.
